Tattnall Baseball (5-0) sweeps the Diamond Day

GAME ONE RECAP vs Trinity Christian Sharpsburg (W 4-0)
Benjamin Stubbs had all the right stuff on Saturday for Tattnall Square Academy, allowing zero runs in a complete-game effort. The lefthander allowed only two hits and had 16 strikeouts, besting Trinity Christian by a score of 4-0.
Gabe McGreggor and Wilton Bumgardner each had two hits for the Trojans. Bumgardner had 3 RBI and a double. Stubbs also picked up the final RBI.
GAME TWO RECAP vs Dutchtown (W 11-3)
Despite allowing three runs in the third inning, Tattnall Square Academy defeated the Dutchtown Bulldogs 11-3 on Saturday. Dutchtown's big inning was driven by Ricky Harris and a double by Tre Callaway.
The Trojans secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a triple by DJ Willis and a single by Riley McCallum.
In the first inning, Tattnall got their offense started when Charlie Morris singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Tattnall took the lead for good with six runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Willis tripled on a 2-2 count, scoring three runs and McCallum singled on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.
Gabe McGreggor was on the hill for Tattnall. The right-hander surrendered three runs on four hits over four innings, striking out three. Riley McCallum pitched the final three innings of relief, allowing two hits, no runs, and striking out five.
The Trojans scattered nine hits in the game. Willis, McCallum, and Benjamin Stubbs all managed multiple hits for Tattnall. Stubbs, McCallum, and Willis each collected two hits to lead the way.
