Benjamin Stubbs strikes out 16 in Tattnall's 5-0 victory over Strong Rock Christian

Tattnall Square Academy got a much-needed win tonight against Strong Rock Christian in a GHSA Region 1A-Private matchup at Tattnall.

The Trojans improved to 18-6 on the season and 10-2 in the Region, holding a slim lead on First Presbyterian for the Region Title and #1 Seed.

Benjamin Stubbs led the way tonight for Tattnall.  The senior struck out 16 batters in the complete-game effort, walking none, and scattering just three hits.

The Trojans were led offensively by their seniors tonight at the plate.  Russ Miller was 4/4 with a run scored and an RBI, while Clay Rowland, DJ Willis, and Benjamin Stubbs were all 2/4.

Tattnall Baseball will be back in action on Thursday in a 4:30 DH at Strong Rock Christian.
