Tattnall Baseball wins final regular season home game over MDS 9-1

Senior Night was a success for the Tattnall Baseball team tonight as they topped MDS 9-1 in their final regular season home game.

The seniors led the way for the Trojans.  Benjamin Stubbs picked up the win to improve to 10-0 on the season.  The lefthander tossed five innings with nine strikeouts and scattered five hits.  He was relieved by junior Gabe McGreggor, who threw the final two innings, allowing only one hit.

Stubbs also helped his cause with the bat, going 2/4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI.  DJ Willis was 1/4 with a double and an RBI.  Russ Miller was 1/3 with a solo HR and 2 runs scored.  Charlie Morris and Clay Rowland combined to score 3 runs for Tattnall.

The Trojans travel to Savannah Christian on Thursday for a 5:30 single game, their regular season finale.  They will open at home the following Friday against Savannah Country Day.

Congratulations to Tattnall Baseball's "Impact Teacher" award winner, Mrs. Lynne Adams, who is in her 33rd year at Tattnall as an English teacher.  Mrs. Adams was also voted "Impact Teacher" by the Softball seniors in the Fall.
