GIAA AAA STATE CHAMPIONS!!

2022 Tattnall Square Acadamy Clay Target Team state champions!
Tattnall Square Acadamy rolled into Savannah this past weekend with 17 varsity shooters to compete for the GIAA AAA State Championship. 19 schools were represented with just over 260 shooters. Each shooter participated in the three shooting events of Skeet, Trap, and Sporting Clays with an opportunity to break 100 targets within each discipline. The scores from each of all school's top five shooters were compiled to account for the total number of targets broken out of 1500 eligible targets. Tattnall successfully broke 1382 targets out of 1500 total to win the GIAA state championship by 31 targets over 1st runner-up FPD. This was Tattnall's first state championship in AAA Clay Target competition, allowing them to pioneer the first state championship accomplished in Tattnall's move to GIAA! This win follows Tattnall's 2021 GAPPS Clay Target State Championship in the General Division.
Of the 18 positions awarded to All State Shooters, seven of those positions were occupied by Tattnall Square Acadamy. The following recipients received all state recognition:
