Tattnall Basketball Sweeps MDS

Tattnall Basketball completed a clean sweep of Mount de Sales tonight, winning both JV games and both Varsity games.

The JV Girls got the action started today at 3:30 with a huge 44-13 win.  They were followed by a closer JV Boys game.  Tattnall pulled off a 48-35 win.

The Varsity Girls defeated Mount de Sales 57-27, led by sophomore Rionna Byrd's 21 points.  Sophomore Anna Hilliard scored 12 points and junior Emma Kelley had 10 points.

The Varsity Boys beat Mount de Sales 54-39.  They were led by freshman Antone Johnson, who had 15 points, and senior Justin Walton with 10 points.

These wins give the Trojans a good start in GHSA Region 1A-Private play.

Tattnall will be in action again on Friday, January 14 when they host First Presbyterian Day School.  JV Girls 4:00, JV Boys 5:00, Varsity Girls 6:30, Varsity Boys 8:00.  Come join us for some great high school basketball.
