Both Tattnall Basketball teams advance to the State Playoffs with Region Tournament wins

The Tattnall Boys Basketball team and the Tattnall Girls Basketball team both will advance to the GHSA Single A-Private State Playoffs this year after two solid performances in Round 1 of the Region 1A-Private Tournament.

The Boys defeated #5 Seed Mount de Sales by a score of 50-37.  Freshman Antone Johnson led the team in scoring with 18 points followed by senior Clay Rowland with 16 and junior Cam Person with 8.

The Girls defeated #6 Strong Rock Christian by a score of 70-32.  Several Lady Trojans were in double-digits tonight.  Junior Emma Kelley led the way with 16 points, followed by sophomore Anna Hilliard's 14, senior Avery Scott's 11, and sophomore Rionna Byrd's 10.
