Tattnall Basketball improves to 2-0 in Region 1A-Private

The Varsity Girls got a fantastic win over First Presbyterian Day School tonight at Tattnall by a score of 49-44.

Freshman KK Marshall led the way from the Trojans, coming off the bench to score a team-high 19 points.  Sophomore Rionna Byrd had a fantastic game, as well, scoring 15 points, along with sophomore Anna Hilliard with 7.

The girls improved to 2-0 in GHSA Region 1A-Private competition.

In the Boys Basketball game, Tattnall played their hearts out, but fell a little bit short, losing 64-59.  It was a great atmosphere and a great effort.  Freshman Antone Johnson (20 points), junior Cam Person (15 points), and senior Clay Rowland (10 points) led the way tonight for the Trojans, who fell to 1-1 in region play.

Up next for Tattnall Basketball:  The Trojans travel to Albany, GA to take on Deerfield-Windsor.  JV Girls 3:30, JV Boys, Varsity Girls 6:00, Varsity Boys 7:30.
