Almost a clean sweep tonight at FPD

The Tattnall Basketball program almost pulled off a clean sweep at FPD tonight in this GHSA Region 1A-Private contest.

The JV Girls got things moving in the right direction with a 26-5 victory.  They were followed by the JV Boys and their 62-43 victory.

The Varsity Girls had a great win by a score of 48-41.  Welcome back Rionna Byrd.  The sophomore led the Lady Trojans with 17 points, followed by junior Emma Kelley, who poured in 15.

The Varsity Boys got hot in the second half, but their come-from-behing effort fell just short, losing 56-55.  Junior Cam Person led the Trojans with 23 points.  Junior Will Vance had 13 points and senior Clay Rowland had 9 points.

Up next for Tattnall Basketball:  Deerfield-Windsor comes to town on Friday.  JV Girls 4:00, JV Boys 5:00, Varsity Girls 6:30, Varsity Boys 8:00.
